Founder of Sakhi welfare society has been organising events related to beti bachao beti padhao and women empowerment since a decade even before the society was formed , These events showcase the talent of school girls and powerpoint presentation on current scenario of sex ratio , motivational stories and programmes to educate the patriarchal mindsets of the society and to bring about gender equality .
Sakhi welfare society organises lectures from Dr Rakhi Anand Agarwal on topics ranging from menstrual hygeine , anaemia , pcod and distribution and promoting use of sanitary pads . Also visits to school and colleges to educate the youth against dowry and female foeticide thereby delivering motivational speeches to the youth who connect very well with her .
Contact sakhi welfare society for organising blood donation camps , general health camps in rural areas with free distribution of basic medications.
Malan Nadi cleaning drive has been one such service which connected sakhi welfare society to the locals very well and all pitched in to do their bit for the society . Besides this , candle march , tree plantation drives , cleaniness drives ,ban plastic ,promote sanitary pads , have been some areas we have had experience with .
Accepted for reusable masks , cushions , all types of cloth bags , nehru jackets , table mats , hanging storage bags , kurtis , suits , shirt and pants for school dress , our trained girls can make a wide range of products we just need a sample .
Sakhi believes that a girl child should be made financially independent according to her calibre and her circumstances. Providing livelihood is our main aim. Dr Rakhi has been self funding the organization and aims to build a powerful association with the rural and semi urban girls who will eventually take over and manage this society with their hard work .

On the 2nd Anniversary of Sakhi Welfare Society, its founder Dr Rakhi Anand Agarwal conducted a two day workshop for rural and semi urban women, who wanted to Learn how to make pickles as means to generate some extra income for their families. 16 women have been skilled to prepare traditional and hygenic home made pickles.
