Born and brought up in Delhi but she had to settle in a small town 20 yrs ago against her wish . Life at one point of time had no purpose but to establish as a gynaecologist in a small town , while interacting with women constantly over the years she realised there was a drastic social reform needed to provide gender equality to stop female foeticide to empower women , she herself being an empowered woman took a lead to do something for gender equality and started a fight against female foeticide , one thing lead to another and today she is a renowened social activist of district bijnor with followers from all over india . She has made a music video bhrun hatya rukwani hogi against female foeticide acted and sung along with her family members and friends , made a short film badhai ho beti hui hai featured on doordarshan on womens day . She has inspired thousands of school and college students with her motivational lectures . She alone has been responsible for organising public events on woman empowerment and against female foeticide particularly now for more than 10 yrs in district bijnor of uttar pradesh which along with the district administration have started bearing fruits in the form of improved sex ratio.
